Natuzzi is Italy's largest furniture brand. We blend design, functions, materials and colours to create harmonious living www.natuzzi.com

There are places that make us feel like home. Environments that represent us and see us at ease. They can be physical spaces that we share with our friends and dear ones, the boundless breath-taking beauty of nature bestowing its peace upon us or the world of imagination, elusive kingdoms that belong to the realm of dreams and the wishes of our subconscious. They are ideal, real or imagined places, which allow us to freeze time for a moment and access a dimension of harmony with the whole universe.
Harmony is everywhere: it can be light, a road, colour. A little touch or an inspiring shape. It can be found in an object, in a home or in unspoiled nature. We live in a ‘world of harmony’ that guides us and moves us at various times and in different scenarios. Every one of us has a very personal and individual vision of that harmony that we create and share with the rest of the world while inspiring others.
Natuzzi Italia is synonymous with harmony maker, a graceful definition behind which is a powerful heart, the inspiring principle of every project that the company has initiated since 1959. Natuzzi Italia’s world of harmony is a space in which design, function, materials and colours coexist harmoniously. A concept that is not limited to collection design but that has been championed as an authentic lifestyle, a movement that brings together all of the world’s harmony makers and enthusiasts and that speaks the language of conviviality, elegance and art.
Timed with Photo Vogue Festival, Vogue and Natuzzi – the festival’s sponsors – are inviting photographers from around the world to come up with their visual interpretation of the world of harmony concept.
Starting from today until the end of August, the Vogue Italia team will select the 30 best photographs uploaded on Instagram using the hashtags #worldofharmony whilst also tagging @vogueitalia and @natuzzi. The best images selected as a result of the scouting initiative will be displayed at the Photo Vogue Festival and, among them, the most impressive ones will be turned into cards to be distributed during the festival and at Natuzzi stores. Moreover, three deserving photographers will have the opportunity to shoot a spread centred around the Natuzzi Italia world.

Enjoy.

PhotoVogue is a constantly increasing photography platform that boasts over 100.000 registered users whose work ranges from portraits to reportage, fashion and street photography and, since 2012, they have also the opportunity of being represented by one of the most highly acclaimed photo agencies in the world - Art+Commerce.
The partnership between PhotoVogue and Leica Camera Italia, which has always been committed to supporting photography talents, was part of a natural evolution for the platform. Timed with the opening of the Leica Galerie in Milan, a new initiative was born based on the selection of the 5 best photographs uploaded each month on the Vogue Italia platform. The resulting group consists of 45 photographs that, projected and printed, will give voice to the various individuals and personalities behind PhotoVogue.
Titled 45 Frames from PhotoVogue, the exhibition will open on April 22 from 7.00 to 10.00 pm inside Leica’s stunning exhibition space on via Mengoni 4 in Milan. We look forward to welcoming you to the opening of the exhibition! In addition, a jury panel made up of Andrea Pacella of Leica Camera Italia, Alessia Glaviano and Chiara Bardelli Nonino, Photo Editors of Vogue Italia, will select the overall best work that will receive the brand new Leica T, while the second and third runner up will receive a Leica C.

The title which I created from the word "Complexity" + "City" since January 2013. I found "landscape" or "cityscape" isn’t suitable enough to describe the photos, which I wanted to show the complexity of the city besides my regular landscape photography. By using both words "complexity" "city" will sound too clumsy, so I combined it into Complex/city.
The photography shows the complexity environment, atmosphere, and the look of my home city, Hong Kong. Inside the photos, you can see the unbalance between old and new architecture, uncoordinated structure of urban or city planning and the cramped atmosphere under multi-concrete from different times and ages. Later on, this series has been developed to other cities, such as Taipei, Tokyo.

From November 23rd to December 15th Lucca will be hosting, under the artistic direction of Enrico Stefanelli, the 2013 edition of the International photography Photolux Festival focused, this year, on the theme of the Urbis as a way of paying homage to Gabriele Basilico. The Festival’s main sponsor is Leica which will be involved in all the events and will present the 10 finalists of Leica Talent, a competition kicking off on October 1st and ending with the presentation of the 10 photographic projects and the announcement of the winner during Photolux (you'll find all the details in here).
Also PhotoVoguers will showcase their works: headed by Alessia Glaviano of Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue, Lorenza Bravetta from Magnum and Vanity Fair’s Marco Finazzi, the jury of the Roberto Del Carlo Photolux Contest 2013 has chosen, among over 66.000 participating photographers, the winner of the PhotoVogue section, Japanese artist Tatsuo Suzuki, having detected in his images a vision that reinterpreted the concept of city not just in a merely architectural way but also in all its societal, anthropological and social nuances: how the city is inhabited, experienced and seen by the people who live in it. A special mention is due to Christine Anderson and Imantas Selenis, who will display their works alongside those of the winner and those of 32 other photographers of PhotoVogue who succeeded in capturing this edition’s urban theme in an original way. The 45 photographs on paper will be accompanied by 200 more to be shown on film that were chosen among the ones published on our platform and that, overall, will present a total of 68 photographers. The competition’s Open section has been won by Sara Munari with |Place|Planner|Project|, while a special mention goes to Emanuele Camerini for "L'Isola", to Alfonso Chianese for "Die Freudlose Gasse (La Via Senza Gioia)" and to Alessandro Vinci for "Berlin Snakes".
Lucca will be the lively setting of many other events and initiatives, including an exhibition by Joel Meyerowitz (developed in partnership with Cortona On the Move Festival), solo exhibitions by Boris Mikhailov, Luca Campigotto and Irene Kung, an exhibition with a reportage shot at Corviale in Rome by Andrea Boccalini, finalist of the first edition of the Leica Talent, “SYL – Support Your Locals”, a project by Lorenzo Tricoli in collaboration with micamera and the travelling exhibition of the World Press Photo.
The PhotoVogue’s photographers with printed photographs on display are: Alina Negoita, Amos Farnitano, Carmen Alt-Chaplin, Cedric Lefebvre, Christine Anderson, Chulsu Kim, Claudia Corrent, Dilokrit Barose Barose, Edyta Leszczak, Fabio Vittorelli, George Otigbah, Giulia Iacolutti, Hiroki Fujitani, Hiroyuki Nakada, Imantas Selenis, Irene Sekulic, Junya Suzuki, Justyna Zdunczyk, Ka Hang Karma Cheng, Kenji Kikuchi, Koji Sugimoto, Lorenzo Grifantini, Luca Rossini, Mark Rosales, Martin Crespo, Mauro Zorer, Natasha Voltornist, Peter Schafer, Piotr Kasprzyk, Ryoma Aoki, Samantha VanDeman, Tamara Wyrzykowska, Tatsuo Suzuki, Tomasz Miksa and Toru Tanaka.

On July 19, at the Carla Sozzani gallery at 10 Corso Como opens the exhibition A glimpse at Photo Vogue - 101 photographers/101 pictures: 101 shots by 101 different photographers, some of the best photos published in this space, you're all invited.
We are excited to offer some of the best artists participating in Photo Vogue this opportunity to get to be known, we would have liked to include many more than the 101 selected, but for obvious reasons of space, the exhibition will be only an amuse bouche of excellence that today Photo Vogue represents and there soon will be other initiatives.
